Deck the Halls with Strathroy Rotary Poinsettias! 🎄

The lights are going up, the eggnog is calling your name, and somewhere out there, a bare mantle is looking a little lonely. Lucky for it (and for you), the Rotary Club of Strathroy's annual poinsettia fundraiser is back!

Deck the Halls with Strathroy Rotary Poinsettias! 🎄

We've been running this campaign for a number of years now, and it has become one of our favourite ways to ring in the holiday season. It gets our community excited for Christmas and the holiday season, and it gets our own members excited too. Thank you, Strathroy-Caradoc—your support makes it all possible.

Pick Your Perfect Poinsettia

Choose from three gorgeous varieties:

Classic Red: the timeless holiday showstopper
Snowy White: elegant, fresh, and pretty enough to turn your living room into a winter wonderland
Glitter: for those who believe that if something can sparkle, it absolutely should!

They come in 6", 8", and 10" sizes. Go small for the desk at work, or go big and make a statement. We won't judge.

New This Year: A Fresh Local Grower

This year, we're thrilled to be working with a new local grower, and we're excited to see where this partnership goes. Every poinsettia you order supports a local business, and we can't wait to show you what they've grown.

A Plant That Does Good

When you buy a Rotary poinsettia, you're helping us give back to the community we all call home. Here's a look at what Rotary funds have helped build and support:

The Strathroy-Caradoc All Wheels Park: The club made a $200,000 donation that helped bring this project to life. Today, it's a place for wheels, ramps, and big smiles.
The Rotary Splash Pad: Fully funded and set up thanks to the club's efforts, it's a summer favourite for local families who need a good way to cool off.
The Rotary Memorial Trail: Built to honour Rotarians who gave their time to our club over the years, it's now a place for everyone to get out, enjoy nature, and take a good long walk.
Scholarships: We've awarded scholarships to local high school students, and we've even offered one to elementary students in the past, because encouraging big dreams can start early.
Rotary Youth Exchange: We have been longtime supporters of this program, which creates peace one young person at a time by sending one student from the Strathroy-Caradoc community abroad for one academic year, and welcoming a student from abroad to our community for the same timeframe. We're currently lucky to have Maria from Brazil with us this year!

Fundraising is only part of what we do. We also love rolling up our sleeves and getting out into the community, like volunteering at the Hospice Hoedown this fall. Fundraisers like this one let us keep showing up in meaningful ways, all year long.

Why You Need One (or Five) Poinsettias

They make any home feel cozy, festive, and Instagram-ready.
They brighten any workplace, and nothing says “the holidays are here!” like a poinsettia on the front desk.
They make a thoughtful gift for neighbours, clients, teachers, and family members who are impossible to shop for.
They're a very polite houseguest. They never complain about the thermostat, never ask for the Wi-Fi password, and never eat the last of the Christmas baking.
